Those that have been knowing of my relationship to research, writing, and presenting the story of Satyendra Nath Bose (1894 to 1974) know that the journey goes back nearly three decades, starting perhaps when I was invited to write an article in India West Newspaper, based in Northern California.

Since then me "writing a book on Bose" has been, how should I say, an albatross around my neck. Many hours of research, interviews, thinking has led to sporadic production of Bose information, but "the book" has so far eluded my grasp. This website will, over time, showcase that journey of discovery that might interest audiences interested in Bose.

The good thing, however, is that while my own production has been sporadic and in bursts, others (scientists, writers, thinkers, artists) have been producing their own works on Bose. This website will showcase those works as well.

It's not known if that elusive Book will materialize. One can hope, as there are many who wish it to be so. But in the meantime I hope that this website and blog will garner interest, satisfy the thirst for information about Bose and his impact, and provoke curiosity and, perhaps a little wonder, about this remarkable human being.
